Partner of the UNESCO Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve<\/h3>

The \"Elbe River Landscape\" biosphere reserve has had a partner network since 2011. This network connects people, associations and companies that work in an environmentally friendly way. The partners are committed to the protection of nature and sustainable development in the region.<\/p>

The partners' products and services stand for:<\/p>

  • Quality,<\/li>
  • Environmental friendliness<\/li>
  • Regionality<\/li><\/ul>

    The network works closely with the biosphere reserve administrations, municipalities and associations. There are more than 190 partners from eleven different sectors.<\/p>

    Join in<\/h3>

    Companies and associations can become part of the partner network if they work in a sustainable and environmentally conscious manner. To become a partner, you have to pass a special test procedure.<\/p>

    The certification is available for eleven sectors, for example:<\/p>

    • Educational institutions,<\/li>
    • Gastronomy,<\/li>
    • Agriculture,<\/li>
    • Tourism<\/li>
    • Nature and landscape guide.<\/li><\/ul>

      In each federal state, an independent group checks whether an applicant meets the criteria. After three years at the latest, a review is carried out to determine whether the conditions are still being met.<\/span><\/p>

      The partners receive a certificate and a plaque. These show that they are part of the network and stand for high quality.<\/span><\/p>
